Bus with migrants crashes in Turkey, leaving 12 dead

Twelve people were killed and 20 injured in a bus crash on Sunday in the Muradiye district of Van province in eastern Turkey.
Report informs citing Anadolu agency that the bus was carrying illegal migrants.
The bus caught fire as a result of the accident. Police officers and doctors were sent to the crash site. The injured have been taken to nearby hospitals.
Van province, bordering Iran, is a transit area for migrants from Afghanistan and Pakistan who illegally cross the Turkish border and try to move to EU countries.
