Azerbaijani rescuers save 53 people trapped under rubble, recover 771 bodies

Azerbaijani rescuers have saved 53 people and recovered 771 bodies from the rubble in the Kahramanmaras province, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The rapid response forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which are in Türkiye at the instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, are continuously carrying out search and rescue operations to eliminate the consequences of the powerful earthquake that rocked the brotherly country.

“The operations in the earthquake-affected areas are carried out using special technical equipment, as well as with the help of search and rescue dogs,” the ministry said.
