Azerbaijan's Akkord Georgia and Turkey's Polatyol & Mapa companies have provided financial support to combat coronavirus in Georgia, the country's Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure told Report's local bureau.
The companies donated a total of $45,000 to Georgia's StopCov Fund.
The StopCov Fund has accumulated a total of 129,611,799 GEL ($40.3 mln) as of now.
The funds raised in the StopCoV Fund, which was created on March 23, will be used to battle coronavirus crisis.
As of now, more than 3,300 people and companies have donated to the fund.
So far, Georgia has 566 confirmed COVID-19 cases and six deaths.
