The majority of employees at the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine are ready to return to work, as was reflected in a statement by the combine's press service, Report informs via Armenian media.
Law enforcement agencies have been notified that some of the strikers are not affiliated with the company.
"The company believes that a group of individuals should not be able to continually disrupt the operations of a strategically important organization. This causes significant material damage to thousands of employees," the statement said.
The company will take all legally prescribed measures to ensure the safety of its employees, as well as the protection of production facilities and property.
Once production resumes, the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine plans to create a special commission to address the issue of employee salary adjustments.
The combine's employees have been on strike since the end of January. They demand a 50% increase in salaries, which management considers unacceptable.
