Armenian opposition to hold nationwide rally in early September

The opposition in Armenia will hold a pan-Armenian rally on September 2, coordinator of the Resistance movement Ishkhan Saghatelyan said, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Armenia.

This doesn’t mean that until the specified date, if necessary, the opposition will not hold emergency rallies and meetings, he noted.

In addition, a pan-Armenian forum of the Resistance movement will be held in mid-August, where well-known figures from Armenia and the Diaspora will be invited.

“As for the resignation of the government, the opposition will initiate the impeachment procedure in parliament when it is sure of a successful outcome,” he stressed.
