Armenian MP: "Number of people leaving Armenia has reached peak level"

In January-August 2021, 701,750 passengers left Armenia from Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan, Report informs, citing Hetq newspaper.

At the same time, 653,697 people entered the country.

Over the past seven months, 48,053 citizens left Armenia forever.

MP Vage Akopyan told journalists that the number of people leaving Armenia has reached a peak level. According to him, the number of people leaving Zangazur (Syunik) increased day by day: "This year, 110 citizens have left the country."
