The relevant decision was adopted at the cabinet sitting today, Report informs, citing Aysor.

According to the government, today, there is a tendency to expand trade-economic cooperation sectors, intensify the reciprocal visits and conduction of joint events, and work with Iran's provinces and cities.

"As a result of agreements reached with high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, work is underway to expand economic and trade relations between the two countries and increase bilateral trade. According to the Armenian Statistics Committee, the trade turnover in 2020 amounted to $400.2 million. Exports from Armenia to Iran made $84.8 million, while exports from Iran to Armenia were $315.4 million," the Armenian government stated.
