Armenian law enforcement agencies have uncovered a drug trafficking scheme through the Telegram social network, according to the press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
The investigation established that four citizens of the country were engaged in selling drugs. To hide the origin of the 60.7 million drams ($151,292) received from the sale, the funds were transferred to various electronic wallets in Armenia and other countries.
One of them has already been charged with drug trafficking and money laundering. The investigation into the case of the remaining participants continues.
Law enforcement officers also identified 15 buyers.
