Armenia's COVID tally nears 250,000

Armenia confirmed 296 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 249,146, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 5,018 as 16 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 233,105 people have recovered from the disease. There are 9,848 active coronavirus patients in the country.
