Armenia's COVID-19 tally hits 166,427

Armenia confirmed 195 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 166, 427 Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 3, 056 as four more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 156, 053 people have recovered from the disease so far.
There are currently 6, 557 active coronavirus patients in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
