Armenia's COVID-19 tally exceeds 192,000

Armenia confirmed 1,148 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 192,639, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll has reached 3,515 as 18 more succumbed to the deadly pathogen. As many as 173,064 people have recovered from the disease.
There are currently 15,168 active coronavirus cases in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
