Armenia's active COVID cases near 2,800

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached 225,553 in Armenia, Report informs, citing the Armenian National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Over the past day, Armenia recorded 89 new COVID cases.

Five people died from COVID-related health complications, bringing the country’s total death toll to 4,526.

To date, 217,131 people have recovered from the infection in Armenia, and 2,796 others are undergoing treatment.
