Armenia discussing new envoy for normalization talks with Türkiye

Nomination of a new Armenian special envoy for the normalization of relations with Türkiye is under discussion, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told journalists, Report informs via Armenian media.
"No decision has been made yet regarding the special envoy. In the format of communication with Türkiye, we need to determine how we will continue the work, with what logic and in what format, in order to make the relevant decisions. Discussions are currently underway on this issue," Pashinyan said.
Former Armenian special envoy Ruben Rubinyan has been nominated by the Civil Contract party as a candidate for speaker of Armenia's ninth-convocation National Assembly.
