Armenia: Coronavirus death toll approaches 1,000

Armenia confirmed 406 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide case tally to 53,083, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll reached 990, as six fell victims to the virus. So far, 44,932 people have recovered from the infection.
There are currently 6,859 active coronavirus patients in Armenia.
