Armenia: Coronavirus cases surpass 1,500

Another 50 people were infected with coronavirus in Armenia, Report informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDCP) under the Health Ministry.
Thus, the number of people infected with the virus has reached 1,523. 24 out of them have died, 659 people have recovered.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases have reached 2,639,892 globally, resulting in 722,717 recoveries and 184,283 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
