Another lie of Armenian Defense Ministry exposed

A criminal case has been initiated into the suicide of a conscript soldier of the Armed Forces of Armenia Mher Hovhannisyan, the Investigative Committee of Armenia said, Report informs, citing news.am.

The committee notes that the serviceman shot himself in the head with an AKM machine gun on May 25 at about 12:55 pm.

"Mher Hovhannisyan was taken to the Noyemberyan Medical Center, where his death was registered," the committee said.

Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that the incident occurred as a result of careless handling of firearms. However, the Investigative Committee said that the soldier committed suicide.
