Abdulkadir Uraloglu: Istanbul needs 1004-kilometer metro line

There is a need for a 1004-kilometer metro line in Istanbul, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, said in an interview with Hürriyet, Report informs.
He said that the construction of 400 kilometers of the line has been completed.
According to the Minister, it is not possible to solve Istanbul's transport problem only with above-ground projects: "We should also go underground, that is, subways."
Uraloglu noted that above-ground solutions have already been exhausted.
