Russia reports 22,934 new Covid cases

Russia has confirmed 22,934 coronavirus cases per day, bringing the official number to 3,448,203, Report informs, citing TASS.
The federal operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus told journalists that the country had recorded 531 COVID-19 deaths.
A total of 62,804 patients have succumbed to the deadly pathogen since the start of the pandemic.
On December 31, 2019, Chinese authorities announced an outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan, and the causative agent is a new type of coronavirus officially named COVID-19.
On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a new coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.
