Russia has confirmed 23,541 coronavirus cases in one day, bringing the official number to 3,332,142, Report informs, citing TASS,
The federal operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus told journalists that the country had recorded 506 COVID-19 deaths.
A total of 2,709,452. patients have recovered, while 60,457 have succumbed to the deadly pathogen since the start of the pandemic.
On December 31, 2019, Chinese authorities announced an outbreak of pneumonia in China's Wuhan, and the causative agent is a new type of coronavirus officially named COVID-19.
On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a new coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.
