819 people succumb to COVID-19 in Russia in one day

Russia has reported 22,144 coronavirus cases in one day, Report informs, citing the country's Operational Headquarters.

The figure brings the overall nationwide tally to 6,579,212 people.

The country's coronavirus deaths have risen by 819 people to 169,683.

The number of recoveries have exceeded 5,800,000.
