4.7 magnitude earthquake strikes Türkiye

An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 was recorded today in central Türkiye, Report informs, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The epicenter was 16 km southwest of the city of Elbistan, home to 80,400 people. The source of the quake was at a depth of 2 km.

There were no reports of casualties or damage.
