US Department of State: 34 servicemen were killed in peaceful conditions in Armenia

"The facts of violence against women and children in Armenia are not investigated properly by the police in Armenia," US State Department commented in a report on human rights situation around the globe in 2018.

Report informs citing Armenian media that the document notes that the level of violence in the Armenian society has increased.

The report provided a wide coverage of the death cases that occurred in the army of the occupant country in peaceful conditions. It was noted that there are contraditions between official and non-official information in this regard. It was stated that in 2018, non-governmental organizations revealed 24 death in the Armenian Armed Forces in the peaceful conditions. However, the Armenian Defense Minsity stated that 34 death cases were recorded in the army in 2018.
