President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the terms of negotiations with the Russian Federation must be fair, the Ukrainian people won’t accept other ones, Report informs citing UNIAN.
The president in a video message reminded that the number of Russian losses in this war has already exceeded 16,000 killed, including top commanders.
"No one has yet reported on the killed Russian colonel-generals or admirals. But the commander of one of the occupying armies and the deputy commander of the Black Sea Fleet is already among them,” the head of state said.
He stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to fight off enemy attacks in the south of the country, in the Donbas, in the Kharkiv direction, in the Kyiv region.
“By holding back Russian actions, our defenders are bringing the leadership of Russia to a simple and logical thought: we must speak. Speak meaningfully. Urgently. Honestly. For the sake of results, and not for the sake of dragging out time. What does this give to anyone?” the President asked.
Zelensky stressed that the conversation should be serious, Ukrainian sovereignty should be guaranteed, and the territorial integrity of Ukraine ensured.
“That is, the conditions must be fair. The Ukrainian people won’t accept other ones,” he said.
