Saudi Arabia plans to hold peace talks on Ukraine in early August with the participation of Western countries, Report informs referring to The Wall Street Journal.
High-ranking officials from 30 countries will arrive at the meeting, which will be held from August 5 to 6 in Jeddah, but Russia is not on this list. The UK, the EU, Poland and South Africa have already confirmed their participation in the talks. The presence of US national security adviser Jake Sullivan is now expected.
The exact number of participants in the talks is not yet known. It is assumed that the event will be attended by all countries that participated in the first international meeting on Ukraine on June 24 in Copenhagen.
