Baku. 7 October. REPORT.AZ/ Nobel Peace Prize was given to Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos. Report informs referring to the foreign media, the prize was awarded for an end to years of conflict with the leftist FARC group.
The award ceremony will take place traditionally on December 10 in Stockholm.
The amount of each of Nobel Prize 2016 is 8 million Swedish kronor (932,000 USD).
