Baku. 8 March. REPORT.AZ/ A power outage in Karakas, capital of Venezuela, led to serious problems with water and telephone in the city, Report informs citing TASS.

Karakas regularly experiences power outages, so most public buildings have their own power sources, which provide basic lighting and water supply. However, the main part of the residential sector has no spare sources of electricity. Many apartments have no water.

The metro has not been working since March 7.

Cellular communication is not functioning well either due to the fact that as a result of a power outage, many of the transmitting signal towers stopped working.

Many people in the last hours cannot get through, the quality of the Internet has deteriorated sharply, many national sites do not open. Some local TV channels do not work either.
