The Venezuelan government has canceled work hours and classes at schools due to power outages throughout the country, Minister of Communications and Information of the Bolivarian Republic Jorge Rodriguez wrote on Twitter, Report informs citing the TASS.
“In order to facilitate the process of restoring power supply, the working day and classes in educational institutions were canceled on July 23. Citizens are not recommended to leave home without special need,” the minister wrote.
Notably, yesterday night massive power outage occurred in some areas of Caracas and in all 23 states of Venezuela. The Minister of Electricity of the Bolivarian Republic, Freddy Brito, indicated that the authorities began to reconnect the electricity supply system to restore power supply.
