US warns China of consequences of providing weapons to Russia

China will face 'strong consequences' on part of the United States and its allies, if it provides armament to Russia and helps Moscow avoid the sanctions, Spokesman of the US Department of State Ned Price said.

"We are going to continue to keep a careful eye, a careful watch on the level of support for – the PRC exhibits towards Russia. Of course, if the PRC were to provide weapons, supplies, were – seek to help Russia evade sanctions, there would be strong consequences for that, not only on our part but also on the part of our allies and partners," he said.
