The US intends to continue sanctions pressure on Russia to support Kyiv, reads the US-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership signed by US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Washington, D.C. on November 10, Report informs referring to the US Department of State website.
“The United States intends to support Ukraine’s efforts to counter armed aggression, economic and energy disruptions, and malicious cyber activity by Russia, including by maintaining sanctions against or related to Russia and applying other relevant measures until restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders,” reads the document.
The document was signed during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Washington.
The US supports Ukraine’s efforts to maximize its status as a NATO Enhanced Opportunities Partner to promote interoperability, according to the document.
