The US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) has delivered more than 23,500 tons of weapons and equipment to Ukraine, Report informs referring to the Command’s website.
“US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) has delivered more than 52 million pounds of security assistance equipment to Ukraine that is enabling critical success on the battlefield against the Russian force that invaded there February 24. This aid includes missiles, artillery, tanks, helicopters, and body armor sets,” reads the report.
Among other things, this includes almost 24,000 anti-armor systems, 1,033 air defense systems, 1,468 air defense missiles, 90 artillery systems, nine helicopters, 33 radars, 7,888 small arms, more than 68,000 sets of body armor and about 49,000 helmets.
“In addition to security assistance, USTRANSCOM has airlifted more than 16,000 troops from the US to Europe to assure allies and deter Russian aggression against NATO, bringing the total number of US service members in Europe to approximately 100,000,” reads the report.
