US sending six bombers and 200 military personnel to Middle East

The Pentagon plans to send an additional 200 US military personnel and six B-52 bombers to the Middle East amid tensions with Iran, Report informs citing the Wall Street.

According to the publication, the Pentagon plans to send 200 military personnel deployed in the Italian city of Vicenza to the region, with some to provide security for the American Embassy in Beirut. The planes are to arrive in the area within the next few days. According to CNN, the US chose to deploy its bombers to Diego Garcia, because it is out of reach of Iran’s longest-range missiles.
