US President: “Getting out of Syria was no surprise”

Baku. 20 December. REPORT.AZ/ “Getting out of Syria was no surprise," US president Donald Trump has tweeted.

“Getting out of Syria was no surprise. I’ve been campaigning on it for years, and six months ago, when I very publicly wanted to do it”,  Trump stressed.

On December 19, he signed a decree on the withdrawal of American troops from Syria.
