US police increase security of mosques

Police in Los Angeles, New York, and Minneapolis cities have increased security of mosques following news mosque attacks in New Zealand, Report informs citing CNN.

In particular, Minneapolis police informed that there are no obvious threats for city's mosques at present, however they have provided additional patrols to ensure security.

The Los Angeles police expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the "horrific" attack in the Al Noor and Linwood Masjid mosques located in Christchurch, New Zealand and mentioned that additional patrols will be provided in the vicinity of mosques of Los Angeles.

At least 27 people were killed, another 40 were injured as a result of the shooting by unknown persons in Christchurch mosques, New Zealand.
