US: Over 22K test positive for COVID-19 per day

More than 22 thousand people have contracted COVID-19 coronavirus in the United States in a single day, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the country has recorded 22,412 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours, while the day before this figure was 27,631.

Yesterday, more than 55 thousan people with positive coronavirus died in the country.
