US diplomatic mission in China stops issuing visas

The US Department of State made a statement in connection with their visa services.
The US Embassy and Consulate General in China have suspended visa services since February 10 due to the 2019-nCoV virus outbreak, the US Department of State said, Report informs, citing TASS.
"From February 10, 2020, the provision of visa services at the US Embassy in Beijing and the US Consulates in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Shenyang have been suspended. Due to the current situation with the new coronavirus, the US embassy and consulate general have a minimal staff and may not be able to respond to requests for visa services," the document says.
