Pompeo: US could not achieve what expected from talks with the DPRK

Baku. 28 February. REPORT.AZ/ North Korean Leader Kim Jong UN was not ready to comply with the US demand, of State Michael Pompeo said in Hanoi, Report informs citing TASS.

He praised the progress made by the leaders of the United States and North Korea, however expressed regret that it was impossible to achieve more.
According to the Secretary of State, US could not achieve what it expected from talks with the DPRK.
"Kim Jong Un was not ready to comply with the demand of US," the Secretary of State said and added that Washington and Pyongyang would continue negotiations on denuclearization.
