US base in Syria comes under rocket fire

A US military base located near the Al Omar oil field in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor was hit by rocket attacks, Report informs referring to foreign media.

Several strong explosions were heard at a US military facility.

Earlier, another US military base, which is located in Al Shaddadi near the Al Jabsa oil field in the south of Hasakah province, came under rocket fire.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq movement claimed responsibility for the attacks on military targets.
