US Air Force launch several airstrikes on Taliban positions

"The US Air Force has launched airstrikes on Taliban positions in Afghanistan over two or three days," said US Defense Department spokesman John Kirby, Report informs, citing foreign press.
"The Afghan forces have the capability, they have the capacity, they have the numerical advantage, they have an air force," said Defense Department spokesman John Kirby on Tuesday.
"It's going to come down to the leadership and the will to use those capabilities."
Kirby added that with the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, US air support for the tribe would end on August 31. No decisions have been made on the further defense of the country.
He noted that the Afghan side had hit more militant positions than the US Air Force.
