Unknown projectile strikes vessel off Oman's coast

A vessel was struck by an unknown projectile 18 nautical miles east of Khasab, Oman, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said, as quoted by Report.
The strike caused a fire on board the vessel, which was subsequently extinguished. According to available information, no crew members were injured, and the vessel is safe. There were no reports of environmental damage.
