Unknown person kills 8-year-old girl, injures teacher at school in S. Korea

An unknown person has stabbed an eight-year-old girl and her teacher at an elementary school in the South Korean city of Daejeon, Report informs via Yonhap.

The girl died in the hospital, while the teacher's condition remains critical.

The victims were found wounded on the second floor of the building and were immediately taken to the hospital. According to the agency, the teacher received injuries to the neck and arm but remained conscious.

Police are investigating the circumstances and causes of the incident.
