Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ Bulgaria nominated UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova as candidate for the post of UN Secretary General, Report informs referring to UN Radio.
The powers of the current UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will expire at the end of 2016.
Civil society representatives and a number of UN member states believe that the time has come to ensure that the organization was headed by a woman.
