UN Security Council urges parties to conflict in Sudan to cease fire

All parties to the conflict in Sudan must cease fire immediately and return to dialogue, Report informs, referring to the statement of the UN Security Council.
The members of the Security Council called on the parties to immediately cease hostilities, restore calm and return to dialogue to resolve the current crisis in Sudan, the document says.
In addition, the members of the UN Security Council stressed the importance of humanitarian aid access to the region, and also reaffirmed their commitment to the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sudan.
