UN says 3 aid workers killed in Sudan clashes

The head of the United Nations mission in Sudan said that three staff members have been killed in the restive Darfur region, as fighting rages between army and paramilitary forces, Report informs referring to AFP.
“Three employees from the World Food Programme were killed in clashes that erupted in Kabkabiya, North Darfur,” UN Special Representative Volker Perthes said in a statement.
“Civilians and humanitarian workers are not a target.”
