Ukraine urgently needs heavy weapons from Germany, says Klichko 

“Ukraine urgently needs heavy weapons from Germany,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko told Bild newspaper.

“We urgently need heavy weapons from Germany. Every delay comes at the cost of human life. How many people will have to die before the heavy weapons are brought in?” he said.

On February 26, the German government, for the first time, approved the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Berlin has decided to send 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger missiles to Kyiv authorities.
