Ukraine, Estonia sign declaration on security cooperation

Ukraine and Estonia have signed a joint declaration on strengthening security and defense cooperation, Report informs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared the information on social media following his meeting with Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal.

"Today, our countries took an important step forward: a joint declaration on strengthening cooperation in the field of security and defense was signed. The document defines areas of cooperation such as the exchange of experience, cooperation in the defense industry and cooperation in air defense. We are also continuing work on an agreement in the Drone Deal format," he wrote.

Zelenskyy thanked Estonia for its support and noted Tallinn's contribution to the PURL program. He also informed the Estonian side about Ukraine's current needs.

During the talks, the sides discussed further strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia, as well as Ukraine's prospects for joining the European Union.
