UK reports 48 cases of new coronavirus strain

The new Mu coronavirus variant (B.1.621) has been revealed in 48 people in UK, Report informs, citing The Mirror.
This strain has already been detected in 39 countries.
It also has mutations that can be resistant to vaccines against COVID-19. Additional studies will find out more details.
The Mu variant was first revealed in Columbia.
