Baku. 4 January. REPORT.AZ/ The number of Uighur Turks detained by Chinese authorities in political-ideological camps has reached 3 million, President of the World Uyghur Congress Dolkun Isa said, Report informs citing the Yenicaggazetesi

He said there was an evidence that the number of captives increased and 350 Uighur professors died in those places.

He said that the number of Uighur Turks detained in these camps was more than one million in January 2018: "There are elderly people aged 80-90 in the camp. Tomorrow will be too late. After the Second World War, world powers promised that genocide would not be repeated again. But now there is genocide against Uighurs in China”.

Notably, 1 million 120 thousand civil servants in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region were "guests" in the families of 1 million 690 thousand Uighur Turks in 2018.
