Two postal workers killed in Russian strike on Ukrposhta depot

Two Ukrposhta employees were killed in a Russian strike by a Banderol drone-missile on the company's sorting depot and mobile post office base in Pavlohrad, Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, Report informs.

Igor Smelyansky, CEO of Ukrposhta JSC, announced this on Telegram.

According to him, a company mechanic was also injured in the attack. His life is not in danger.

Smelyansky noted that the damaged depot served Pavlohrad and nearby villages in the district.

At the same time, he stressed that the delivery of pensions, medicines, parcels and letters would continue according to schedule. However, minor delays are possible due to the adjustment of processes.

"We will definitely compensate clients for everything that was destroyed during the strike," he said.
