Tunisia tightening restrictions for foreign tourists

The Tunisian authorities have decided to send arriving foreign tourists to quarantine, Report informs, referring to RIA Novosti.
The country's Ministry of Health has announced new measures for guests from abroad. From February 1, 2021, all travelers must submit a negative PCR test for coronavirus, made no earlier than 72 hours before entering the country.
They are also required to undergo a seven-day quarantine at their own expense in one of the observatory hotels.
At the end of self-isolation, they will take another COVID test. If it turns out to be negative, vacationers will be able to leave the designated hotel.
There are 204,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Tunisia, while 6,508 COVID patients have died.
