Tehran airspace to be fully closed during Khamenei's funeral

Iranian authorities will completely close Tehran's airspace on July 6 as part of security measures during the funeral of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said Hossein Pourfarzaneh, head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization (CAO), Report informs via Mehr news agency.
He stated that operations at Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad international airports will also be restricted that day.
Khamenei, Iran's former supreme leader, was killed on February 28 in strikes carried out by the United States and Israel. His burial was delayed for four months due to ongoing military operations and will now take place following the June 18 memorandum signed to settle the conflict. The funeral events are scheduled for July.
